Carson Wentz is an American football quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He played college football at North Dakota State. He was drafted by the Eagles with the second overall pick of the 2016 NFL draft. He is the highest drafted quarterback from an FCS school, and the highest drafted player ever from North Dakota State.Carson Wentz was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the No. 2-overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and comes to Philadelphia as the franchise’s highest-drafted player since the team selected QB Donovan McNabb with second-overall pick in 1999. A two-year team captain at North Dakota State University, Wentz led the Bison to back-to-back NCAA Division 1 FCS national championships in 2014 and 2015 and compiled a 20-3 overall record in his two seasons as a starter.
